DESIGN BRIEF:

The brief for this garden was to totally reinvigorate the front garden into a larger entertaining area while creating a modern clean feel. Removing all of the mature plants was paramount and introducing a fire place and new materials also. A veggie garden and  screen fences were fundamental to the brief.

OVERVIEW:

All the existing plants and a large amount of soil was removed. Plastered block and timber retaining walls were constructed to hold the earth back and a block fireplace was constructed here also. The vitex timber deck was extended into the space and the concrete patio has created a large level entertaining area straight off the house. Certain plants were added around the garden beds to soften the retaining walls/fences and added some lush green into the garden.
