Design Brief

An initial meeting with you on site enables us to get a sense of your landscape, your needs and desires. We will bring along samples of hard & soft landscaping materials, brochures of hardscape features etc. This allows you to get a feel for what will eventually could be created in your garden.

A design brief is then created, that you the client agrees upon, before the design phase begins. The concept stage of the design will commence once the 50% first payment of the design project has been paid for.

Working Plans and Site Survey

After the design brief has been agreed upon a full site survey of all the existing hardscape elements, existing plants and levels will be undertaken.

Concept Plan and Material Palette

From the initial meeting with you and together with the survey/site analysis, we produce a concept design and material palette which will convey the design brief points. The type of garden, space & function layout, planting arrangement and feel for the garden will be portrayed in this design and palette.

Planting Plan, Quantities and Palette

A detailed planting plan with quantities and plant sizes will allow sourcing the plants easier and quicker. A plant palette showing photos of the selected plants in there environment will give you an idea of the proposed plants.

Quotation

We can assist in selecting a suitable landscape contractor and thus provide costing for the construction of the entire job.

Project Management and Plant Placement

We provide project management on site to ensure the finished result is as per the original concept and to the best standard. We will work closely with the main contractor, on a regular basis, to allow for a smooth transition through the construction phase. We also provide on site plant placement to ensure the plants are positioned in the way they were intended to be.
