MAIRANGI BAY

 

DESIGN BRIEF:

The existing backyard of this property was completely demolished. A new outdoor entertaining area with seating, screening from the neighbours and lush planting the main focus for the brief.

 

OVERVIEW:

A pine deck and retaining wall were built with a large seating area. Large planters, within the main deck space, were planted with fruit trees. This gives the client easy access to the fruit and the plants break up the mass of the timber decking. Fence screening ,from the neighbours, creates a more private area. Low maintenance plants were added to define the deck space, add some green into the garden and to provide a backdrop.
